Chapter 6: Maintenance and Troubleshooting
The meter needs little or no maintenance with normal use. It automatically tests its own systems every time
you turn it on and lets you know if something is wrong. See Chapter 6, “Display and Error Messages.”
If you drop the meter or think it is not giving accurate results, make sure that the test drum and control
solution have not expired, then perform a control test. If the control result is out of the acceptable range, visit
our web site at www.accu-chek.com/support or call the ACCU-CHEK Customer Care Service Center at
1-800-858-8072.
Display check
Test the display before each blood glucose test to make sure it is working properly.
1. With the meter off, press and hold
