Fuel and Equipment
Safety Guidelines
Warning!
Gasoline is intensely ammable - burn danger!
Only mix and store gasoline in the containers provided
for the purpose.
Do not use fuel mixture that has been stored for longer
than 90 days
Only tank up outdoors
Do not smoke near the tanks
Do not open the tank closure near running or hot
motors
Replace damaged tank or tank closure
Always close the tank cover securely whenever gasoline
is drained.
Do not start motor:
Avoiding spark attempts
Clean equipment
Producing the fuel mixture
Only use fuel in the ratio of 25:1.
Pour gasoline and 2-cycle brand-name oil into an 1.
appropriate container in accordance with the table
Mix both parts thoroughly.2.

Mixing procedure Gasoline Mixed oil
25 parts gasoline:
1 part mixed oil
2-cycle mixed oil
1 l 40 ml
3 l 120 ml
5 l 200 ml
Start-up procedure
Caution!
Before commissioning, always conduct visual inspection.
If there are loose, damaged or worn-out cutting works
and/or fastening parts, the device must not be used.
Always operate trimmer with protective shield
Always observe country-speci
c rulings regarding
operating hours
Always observe the accompanying operating
instructions from the motor manufacturer
Starting Motor
Warning!
Never allow the motor to run in closed spaces.
Poisoning danger!
Before starting, shorten the cutting string to 13 cm,
in order not to overload the motor.
Starting ipper steps:
CHOKE RUN
Cold Start
Caution!
Always pull starter cord straight out.
Do not allow it to snap back too quickly.
Set the ignition switch on the position "Start" 1.
(Illustration 7).
Note gas lever: 2.
Press "Lock off" switch (2) inward.Subsequently,
simultaneously press the gas lever (3) and the gas
lever lock (4).
Release "Lock of
f" switch (2). The gas lever
latches on full gas.
Set start
ipper (1) on the position "CHOKE" 3.
(Illustration 8).
Press fuel pump (2) 10x.4.
Pull out starter cord quickly until the motor starts.5.
Maintain a quick, rhythmic pull.
After starting motor: Set start ipper on "RUN".6.
If the motor doesn't start, repeat steps 1 to 6.7.
