TROUBLESHOOTING
General
Error message Possible cause Solution
Boundary cable defective,
automatic lawnmower does not find
base station.
Check boundary cable for interrupti-
ons, if necessary have it tested by an
AL-KO service partner.
Battery exhausted. Battery service life exceeded. Have
battery renewed by an AL-KO service
partner.
Charging electronics faulty. Have charging electronics renewed by
an AL-KO service partner.
Low battery vol-
tage
Automatic lawnmower does not touch
charging contacts.
Put automatic lawnmower into base
station and check if charging con-
tacts make contact.
Have charging contacts checked
and renewed by an AL-KO service
partner.
Incorrect PIN
code
PIN code has been entered incorrectly. Enter correct PIN code. Three at-
tempts are allowed, after which a PUK
code must be entered.
Working time of automatic lawnmower
is too short.
Programme longer working times.
Mowing area too big. Reduce mowing area.
Ratio of cut height to tall grass is incor-
rect.
Set cutting height taller, then reduce in
stages to required height.
Cutting blades are blunt. Renew cutting blades or have them
sharpened by an AL-KO service part-
ner; install with new screws.
Mowing result is
uneven
Grass is blocking rotation of cutting
blade plate or motor shaft or is making
it more difficult to rotate.
Remove grass and ensure that cutting
blade plate can rotate freely.
Automatic lawn-
mower is mowing
at wrong time
Time on automatic lawnmower or start
and finish time for mowing must be set.
Set time.
Automatic lawn-
mower is vibrating
Imbalance on cutting blade or cutting
blade drive.
Check and clean cutting blade and cut-
ting blade plate, renew if necessary.
