3.1.6 Call settings
Touch and select Settings from Phone screen, the following options are
available:
Display options
Sort by To set the contacts display by First name or Last name.
Name format To set the name format by First name first or Last name first.
Quick responses
• To edit quick responses which will be used when you reject a call with
messages.
Call settings
• Voicemail
Service: Opens a dialog box where you can select your operator’s voicemail
service or another service.
Setup: If you are using your operator’s voicemail service, this opens a
dialog box where you can enter the phone number to use for listening to and
managing your voicemail.
Sound: To select the notification sound for incoming voicemail.
Vibrate: Mark the checkbox to enable vibration when there's an incoming
voicemail.
Fixed Dialling Numbers
Fixed dialling number (FDN) is a SIM service mode, where outgoing calls are
restricted to a set of phone numbers. These numbers are added to the FDN
list. The most common practical application of FDN is for parents to restrict
the phone numbers to which their children can dial.
For security reasons, you’ll be prompted to enable FDN by entering SIM
PIN2 which is usually acquired from your service provider or SIM maker.
Call forwarding
To preset how your calls are forwarded when you are busy, unanswered or
unreachable.
Call barring
You can activate or deactivate the call barring for outgoing and incoming
calls. Below options are available:
All outgoing calls: All outgoing calls will be barred.
International outgoing calls: Outgoing international calls will be barred.
International except home: Outgoing international calls except those to
your country of subscription will be barred.
All incoming calls: All incoming calls will be barred.
Incoming calls while roaming: Incoming calls will be barred when you
are abroad.
Cancel all: Deactivate all call barring.
Change barring password: Change the original barring password for
activating call barring.
Additional settings
Caller ID: Your phone will use default operator settings to display your
number in outgoing calls.
Call waiting: Mark the checkbox to notify you during a call of a new
incoming call.
Call waiting status: Opens a dialog where you can check your call waiting
status.
3.2 Call log
You can open your call history by touching from the Phone screen.
Touch a contact or number for further operations.
You can view detailed information of a call, redial or call back to a contact or
number, etc.
To view the entire call memory, touch View the whole call history at the
screen bottom.
Touch and select Delete or Clear call history to erase any unwanted
call logs.
3.3 Contacts .............................................................
You can view and create contacts on your phone and synchronise these with
your Gmail contacts or other applications on the web or on your phone.
