Circuit Breaker Replacement Instructions
An automatic resetting circuit breaker protects the wiring and battery in the event of a short circuit.
If the Amigo stops, check for overloads or short circuits before continuing to operate.
The circuit breaker is located under the rear cover and attached to the positive
terminal on the batteries (Figure 11). If you suspect the circuit breaker is defective,
use a jumper wire between the two terminals of the breaker. If the Amigo runs now,
replace the circuit breaker.
DO NOT CONTINUE TO OPERATE THE AMIGO UNTIL
THECIRCUITBREAKERISREPAIRED.
Note: Tampering with electrical or mechanical parts will invalidate your warranty.
TROUBLESHOOTING
All Amigos covered in this operational manual are equipped with an ASIC MPC Controller. This controller has a built-in
diagnostic feature that will cause the battery indicator light LED to flash a numeric code to indicate when there is a
service problem.
Under normal operating conditions the battery indicator LED will flash
to indicate three different situations.
1 To indicate a low battery condition when driving.
2 To indicate the battery charging cycle has started.
3 To indicate when the batteries are fully charged during the charging cycle.
