Move the engine stop switch (1) to posi-
tion ≈

Rotate the key (2) and move the ignition
switch (3) to position ≈

Seize the left grip (5) and the passenger
grab strap (6).
WARNING
Danger of fall or overturning.
When the vehicle is straightened from
the parking position to the driving posi-
tion, the stand goes automatically up.

Press the side stand with your right foot
and extend it completely (7).
◆
Incline the vehicle until the stand rests
on the ground.
◆
Steer the handlebar completely left-
wards.
WARNING
Make sure that the vehicle is stable.

TO PREVENT THEFT
CAUTION
Do not use any “brake lock” devices.
Failure to heed this warning can seri-
ously damage the braking system and
lead to an accident thus provoking seri-
ous injuries or death.
NEVER leave the ignition key inserted and
always use the steering lock. Park the ve-
hicle in a safe place, possibly in a garage
or a protected place. When possible, use
an additional anti-theft device. Make sure
that all documents are in order and the
road tax has been paid. Write down your
personal data and telephone number in
this page, to facilitate the identification of
the owner in case of finding after theft.
