Components

valvesmustbeusedwhileworkingwithpressurizedcomponents.

4.8 SafetyGuidelines,WorkingwithCompressor
n Stopthemachineifthereisanindicationthatthecompressorisoverheated.
n Donotopenanyinspectionhatchuntiltheequipmenthascooleddown.
n Checkandmaintainthesafetydevicessuchassafetyvalvesandoverpressurede
vicesregularly.
n Avoidcloggingthecompressorwithpaint,carbonisedoilordirt,whichcoulddisrupt
compressoroperation.
n Checkpressureandcontrolgaugesregularlyandreplacewithnewoneswhenthey
cannolongermeasurethepermittedvalues.
n Positionthemachinesothatnodustblowsagainstit.
n Closethecompressorairoutletvalvebeforeconnectingordisconnectingahose.
