On inserting the CFast Flash card it engages again with a soft click. The card is seated correctly if it is flush
with the front side of the device housing.
2.8 CFast card
The CFast Flash Card (CFast Card) is a nonvolatile memory.
Data to be retained in the event of a power failure should be saved on the CFast card. The CFast card
operates like a hard disk.

Using CFast cards
We strongly recommend that only CFast cards supplied by Beckhoff Automation GmbH
should be used. These are industrial CF cards with a higher number of write/read cycles
and an extended temperature range (+85 °C). Proper operation can only be guaranteed
with CFast cards from Beckhoff Automation GmbH!
