8.2.1 Setting the current time
Check the programmed date and time using the BEST
SOFTWARE:
▶ Check the CONFIGURATION menu, the MAIN SETUP win-
dow and the DATE and TIME lines.
▶ Correct the data if necessary.
8.2.2 Selecting the motor start function
The compressor module switches the motor contactors
on and off. With the BEST SOFTWARE, it can be
choosen between different starting functions and FI op-
eration.
Adjust in the BEST SOFTWARE:
▶ Set the appropriate motor start function in menu
CONFIGURATION, window MOTOR STARTER FUNCTION.
In case of star-delta, part-winding or direct on-line start,
the compressor motor starts 1s after the start signal of
the superior controller, in case of FI operation notice-
able later.
8.2.3 Entering the refrigerant used
▶ Setting the refrigerant in the BEST SOFTWARE: Go
to MAIN SETUP, window REFRIGERANT and select the
used refrigerant.
▶ Adjusting the lock out data of application limits mon-
itoring: Go to CONFIGURATION, window PRESSURE
SWITCHES, rows HIGH PRESSURE SWITCH: VALUE and LOW
PRESSURE SWITCH: VALUE, column USER SETTING and
enter the limit values as relative pressures according
to the design limits of the system. Data beyond the
allowable limit values are not memorised.
8.2.4 Setting the set point characteristic
▶ Setting the set point characteristic with the
BEST SOFTWARE: Select in the menu CONFIGURA-
TION, window MISCELLANIOUS the desired SETPOINT CON-
TROL CHARACTERISTIC in column USER SETTING: 0 .. MAX
or MIN .. MAX.
8.2.5 Deactivating the Bluetooth interface
Depending on the installation site, it may be necessary
to deactivate the Bluetooth interface.
▶ In the BEST SOFTWARE, in the CONFIGURATION
menu, BLUETOOTH window, BLUETOOTH ACTIVATED line,
select the setting DEACTIVATED in the USER SETTINGS
column.
➙ After that, the Bluetooth interface will no longer send.
Now communication will only be possible via cable
using the BEST interface converter. This converter
can be used to activate Bluetooth again.
If the Bluetooth interface has been deactivated and
cannot be activated via the BEST interface converter,
then it has already been permanently deactivated ex
works. In this case, it can no longer be activated.
8.2.6 Configuring a spare part
If a CM-SW-01 has been replaced, the specific com-
pressor parameters must be set.
▶ Connect the PC/mobile device to the new CM-
SW-01 via the BEST interface converter.
▶ Open BEST SOFTWARE and select a new CM-
SW-01.
▶ Perform a firmware update.
▶ Select the compressor from the suggestion list.
▶ Adjust all MAIN SETUP parameters in the CONFIGURA-
TION menu.
▶ Check all the other parameters and adjust them if
necessary.
8.3 Data log
All monitored operating parameters and alarm mes-
sages are stored internally:
• all operating parameters in 10-second intervals
• during standstill in 60-second intervals
• storage capacity: approx. 2 weeks in case of normal
operating behaviour
• alarm messages and statistics of the last 365 days
This data can be exported using the
BEST SOFTWARE. They enable analysis of the sys-
tem operation and provide detailed information for
troubleshooting, see chapter Monitoring operating para-
meters with BEST SOFTWARE or BEST APP, page
58.
