Tires
Checking tire pressure
Incorrect tire inflation pres-
sure results in poorer hand-
ing characteristics of the Scoot-
ers and reduces the life of the
tires.
Ensure proper tire inflation
pressure.
At high road speeds, tire
valves installed perpen-
dicular to the wheel rim have a
tendency to open as a result of
centrifugal force.
Use valve caps with rubber seals
and screw them on firmly to pre-
vent sudden tire deflation.
Make sure ground is level and
firm and park scooter.
Check tire pressures against
data below.
Tire pressure, front
34.8 psi (2.4 bar) (With tire
cold)
Tire pressure, rear
36.3 psi (2.5 bar) (Single rider,
with cold tires)
42.1 psi (2.9 bar) (Driver with
passenger and/or load, with
cold tire)
If tire pressure is too low:
Correct tire pressure.
