The Rallye style variant
underlines the sporty character
of the R 1200 GS. Colour design
in Lupin Blue Metallic, clear-
coated labels on the sides of the
fuel tank in BMW Motorsport
colours and most of all the
powder-coated Cordoba Blue
frame already visually describe
the sportiest standard GS of all
times.
The equipment of the
R 1200 GS Rallye has been
consistently geared towards an
increased off-road performance.
The Rallye style variant
consists of:
Rallye motorcycle seat, per-
fectly ergonomically shaped for
maximum freedom of move-
ment and good levels of com-
fort, also with a passenger.
Low-cut sports windshield
for an unrestricted view of
rough terrain ahead and free-
dom of movement when riding
while standing up.
Radiator cowls made of dur-
able stainless steel.
Radiator protective grilles,
protect from stone chipping
when riding closely behind
vehicles ahead.
Enduro footrests, wide ver-
sion for stability.
Cross-spoked wheels, op-
tionally with off-road tyres.
Enclosed frame guard,
protects the frame from wear
caused by heavy-duty contact
with boots.
Enclosed protective caps
for the sporty, slim rear when
the luggage carrier has been
removed.
