Wire Cup Brush Assembly
A type 27 wheel guard
may not be used for all
tool operations. Do not discard guard
when not in use. Always reinstall wheel
guard when converting back to grinding
operations. When using Wire Cup Wheels,
tool may be used without a guard.
Wear protective gloves
when handling wire
brush accessories. Handling of wire brush
accessories without gloves may result in
personal injury.
To install wire cup brush (Fig. 14)
Follow instructions for Mounting and Re-
moving X-Lock Accessories starting on
page 17.
Wire Wheel Assembly
To install wire wheel (Fig. 15)
1. Inspect and adjust Type 27 Grinding
Guard to the proper position, as shown
in figure 6 on page 16.
2. Follow instructions for “Mounting ac-
cessory to the tool” and “Removing the
accessories on page 18.
