Installing Masonry Type 41/1A
Cutting Guard
Follow all instructions provided with the
masonry Type 41/1A cutting guard to in-
stall and use it with this grinder.
Installing Dry Diamond Wheel
Follow all instructions provided with the
masonry Type 41/1A cutting guard to pre-
pare it for installation of compatible acces-
sories and operation.
To install Dry Diamond Wheel (Fig. 18) see
instructions on page 17.

Inserting and Releasing
Battery Pack
To insert the battery pack slide it into the
housing until the battery pack locks into
position.
Your tool is equipped with a secondary
locking latch to prevent the battery pack
from completely falling out of the handle,
should it become loose due to vibration.
To remove the battery pack, press the bat-
tery pack release button and slide the bat-
tery pack forward (Fig. 19).
Press the battery pack release button
again and slide the battery pack complete-
ly out of tool housing.
