A Few More Bits of Information…
The following table provides a few tips on how to get the most out of the Canon Xti Digital Camera.
More information on several of these issues will be detailed later in this document.
ISSUE WHAT TO KNOW
Post a Quick
Reference Card in
Each Room
You must have a Camera Quick Reference Card filled out and
posted in each Camera Room. This card will help associates check
important camera settings before each session.
Use the Lens Cap When the camera is not being used, put the lens cap on the end of the
lens. This will help prevent damage and dust.
Use the Lens Hood In order to prevent lens flare, always ensure a lens hood is installed at
the end of the camera lens.
Keep light fixtures
clean and free of
dust
Dust and dirt build up on lighting fixtures can deplete the overall light
output, causing exposure problems.
Be careful with
cable connections
Cables can easily be unplugged, yanked, and snagged. New methods of
securing cables are in development, but taking care with cables will go a
long way.
Use the handle
(VersaFlip) to
rotate the camera
Rotate the camera between horizontal and vertical positions by grasping
the camera handle. Do not rotate the camera by grasping the camera
body.
Rotating with the handle will minimize the chances of changing a
camera setting or unplugging a cable. It will also not put any strain on
the camera body.
Changes are
coming
As we continue the digital rollout, improvements will be developed to
help make using the camera easier.

Support
