NOTE: If the outdoor condensing unit initiates defrost cycles frequently, then it is recommended to adjust the “thermal balance point” to a
temperature that would decrease the recurrence of these cycles and prevent cold air blowing during the duration of the defrost cycle.
The thermal balance point is the outdoor ambient temperature at which the heat pump can no longer provide sufficient heating to the
space on its own and compromises the reliability of the compressor.
