Crosscutting
Crosscutting is used to cut a workpiece to
length. The workpiece is held against the
fence. The saw blade is pulled through the
workpiece. Cuts are usually made across the
grain of the workpiece.
Types of Crosscuts
The basic types of crosscuts are shown below.
