Useful functions on your
Daikin Altherma controller
Raising the hot water temperature
Storing water at higher temperatures is wasteful,
because heat loss from the cylinder will be
increased and the heat pump running costs
will increase.
However, should you find the hot water is not
hot enough, it can be increased by pressing
on the controller.
The controller is located on the front or close
to the indoor unit (the hydrobox).
For best use of energy, only increase by 2°C
at a time.
Additional hot water other than
pre-set times (boost function)
If you run out of hot water press and hold
(5 seconds) the button at the
bottom right of the controller until you see
&
symbols flashing in the display.
Note: Increased use of boost function will
affect overall efficiency of the system.
