Speed and Temperature Sensor (H1)
Removal
1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Using an 5 mm internal hex wrench, remove the fastening screw (W055).
3. Remove the speed sensor (W040) from the motor housing.
Inspection
Inspect parts for damage or foreign material and sealing surfaces on the motor for nicks or scratches.
Reassembly
1. Always install a new O-ring before installing the sensor.
2. Install the speed and temperature sensor into the housing.
3. Install the fastening screw and torque to 8 N•m (5.9 lbf•ft).
