Extracting coee
• Follow the rst ve steps in accordance with Extracting an espresso coee.
• Put a coee cup on the cup tray under the extraction nozzle (see Fig. 10).
• Raise the lever to its full extent and insert a Delta Q coee capsule in the
capsule holder housing hole, in accordance with the housing silhouette.
Completey lower the lever (see Fig. 11).
• Press the coee extraction button. The luminous indicators of the espresso
coee and tea extraction buttons go out. The luminous indicators of the
coee and Standby extraction buttons will remain on (see Fig. 13).
• The luminous indicator of the coee extraction button ashes (green) and
the extraction operation starts.
• During drink extraction the corresponding extraction button may be pressed
in order to stop the operation.
If you wish to extract more of the drink, press the button again.
• After extracting the amount of coee selected, the equipment stops
automatically. You are recommended to lift the lever again at the end of the
extraction process to release the capsule into the used capsule tank.
Lower the lever into its resting position (see Fig. 11).
Warning: If, during the drink preparation, there is any alert because
of a lack of water, blockage or fault in the used capsule tank,
the equipment will/must be stopped immediately.
(For further information about the meaning and definition of the alerts and the
luminous alarms, consult the “Alerts and Alarms” chapter (see Page 101).
• The equipment returns to the “Ready to use” mode and all the luminous
indicators of the control panel buttons are illuminated green (see Fig. 8)
• Empty the used capsule tank and the drip basin frequently.
• Always turn o the coee machine by pressing/switching the On/O
general button. Remove the electrical plug from the respective socket whe
never the equipment is not being used.
