1.Press the ENTER button.
2.Use the number buttons to input the previously
set password (a 4-digit number), next input the
new password, then input the new password
again, and finally press the ENTER button.
• The password is initially set to “0000”.
• Be careful not to forget the password.
• The settings cannot be changed until the proper
password is input.

Select TUNER by press the FUNCTION button.

Select the station you want to listen to
(auto selection).
Hold down the TUNING (–, +) button for 0.5 to
2 seconds.
When a station is tuned in, the tuning process
will stop automatically.
If you want to stop the tuning process, press
the TUNING (–, +) button.
Selecting stations which cannot be tuned
automatically (manual selection)
Select the manual tuning mode.
When the TUNING (–, +) button is pressed
momentarily (0.5 second or less), the
frequency changes by a fixed step.
FM : 50 kHz steps
AM : 9 kHz steps
Press the TUNING (–, +) button repeatedly until
the station you want to listen to is found.
•“STEREO” is displayed when a stereo
broadcast is tuned in.
•“Tuned” is displayed when a broadcast is
correctly tuned in.
Pressing this button alternates between Stereo mode
and Mono mode.
Stereo
FM stereo broadcasts are received in stereo and
the “STEREO” indicator lights in the display.
Mono
To compensate for weak FM stereo reception,
select this mode. Reception will now be forced
monaural, reducing unwanted noise.

Select AM or FM by pressing the BAND
button.
