6 Intended use
The ventilation system is intended to be installed in motor homes, caravans and leisure boats.
The ventilation system is not suitable for:
• Houses
• Apartments
• Cruiseline
• Construction machines
• Agricultural machines
• Trucks
This product is only suitable for the intended purpose and application in accordance with these instructions.
This manual provides information that is necessary for proper installation and/or operation of the product. Poor in-
stallation and/or improper operating or maintenance will result in unsatisfactory performance and a possible failure.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for any injury or damage to the product resulting from:
• Incorrect installation, assembly or connection, including excess voltage
• Incorrect maintenance or use of spare parts other than original spare parts provided by the manufacturer
• Alterations to the product without express permission from the manufacturer
• Use for purposes other than those described in this manual

7 Technical description
The ventilation system is used to ventilate the air inside a vehicle in which it is installed on a high rate without change
of the internal temperature. The air from inside the vehicle is drawn out of the vehicle by a fan through the heat ex-
changer. The energy of this air is stored in the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger rotates continuously and releases
the stored energy back into the air stream, that is drawn from the outside of the vehicle by a second fan into the interi-
or. During the air exchange, the air is kept clean and energy loss is minimized.
The ventilation system can be connected to a smartphone, tablet or laptop via Bluetooth to control the appliance via
the Dometic Climate App.
