In this area, softkeys are arranged whose display ranges vary according to
setting and device status.
3.2 Intended use
The Dräger X-act 7000 is used to determine gaseous compounds in the
ambient air. Depending on the Dräger MicroTubes used, the device measures
the smallest of concentrations of the corresponding substance, predominantly
in the ppb range.
For sensor measurements, a system of sensors and hoses (graphic C/3)
measuring up to 45 meters in length may be connected to the device using the
coupler (graphic C/1) and the X-am pump (graphic C/2).
3.3 Approval
An image of the name plate and the declaration of conformity can be found in
the accompanying supplementary documentation (Part No. 9300082).
Intended field of application and conditions of use, hazard areas
according to zones

of zones 0, 1 and 2, in compliance with the temperature range as specified on
the device, and in which gases of explosion groups IIA, IIB or IIC and
temperature class T4 can occur.
The list of applied standards can be found in a copy of the EU-type examination
certificate and the IECEx Certificate of Conformity or in the EU Declaration of
Conformity.
If the device is used in off-shore applications, a distance of at least 5 m to any
compasses must be maintained.
