MACHINEMAINTENANCE
During long periods of machine downtime it is a good idea to: clean and lubricate the cutter support (see the section
entitled“CLEANINGANDMAINTAININGTHECUTTERSUPPORT”);emptythefueltank(fig.1no.1);lubricatethecylinder
with an appropriate lubricant supplied by your reseller; clean the air filter (see the motor’s manual)
; empty th

carburettorbowlofanyresidualfuel;lubricateanyofthemachine’spaintedpartswhichhavebeenscratchedordented,
aswellasanyofitsgalvanisedparts,inordertopreventtheformationofrust;dryanywetportionsofthemachine.The
useofapressurewasherisabsolutelynot
recommended.
Foranymaintenanceoperationstobeperformeduponthemotor,pleasefollowtheindicationsprovidedinthemotor’s
manual,whichcomessuppliedwiththemachine.
Itis generally a goodidea to check the levelofthemotor oil after every8 hours of useand to clean the airfilterafter
every 4 hours of use.
These operations should be performed more frequently if working in extremely dusty
environments.Neverforcethemachine’smotor;ifwhitesmokecomesoutoftheexhaust,slowdown.
