This motherboard supports ATI CrossFireX
TM
Technology that allows you to install
multi-graphics processing units (GPU) graphics cards. Follow the installation proce-
dures in this section.
Requirements
1 You should have a CrossFireX
TM
Ready motherboard, a CrossFireX
TM
Edi-
tion graphics card and a CrossFireX
TM
ready graphics card.
2 Visit the ECS website (www.ecs.com.tw) for a list of qualified CrossFireX
TM
ready graphics card for this motherboard.
3 Make sure that your graphics card driver supports the ATI CrossFireX
TM
technology. Download the latest driver from the ATI website
(www.ati.com).
4 Make sure that your power supply unit (PSU) can provide at least the
minimum power required by your system.
Installation and Use of CrossFireX
TM
Technology
1. Insert the CrossFireX
TM
graphics cards into the PCIE16X_1 and PCIE16X_2 slots.
Make sure that the card is properly seated on the slot.
2. Connect an external cable to the CrossFireX
TM
ready graphics card installed on the
PCIE16X_2 slot.
