information on usage and safety as well as useful tips for
maintenance.

the washing machine!
We recommend that you keep the user manual safe from
damage and within easy reach of the user so that it remains
in good condition throughout the life of the washing machine.
Check that the user manual, guarantee certicate, contact details
for the service centre and the energy efciency label are supplied
with the appliance. You should also check that plugs, the drain hose
holder and cup for liquid detergent or bleach (only certain models)
are supplied with the appliance. We recommend that you keep all
these components.
Each appliance is identied by a unique 16-digit code that is usually
known as the serial number. This number is shown on a label that
is permanently attached to the appliance (near the lid) or in the
envelope containing documentation that can be found inside the
appliance. The serial number is a specic product ID that can be
used to register the appliance and whenever you contact a service
centre.
