3. Adjust thevolume level on thespeaker or theexternal device.
Note: Thetrack can be changed using thebuttons on thespeaker once theexternal
device is connected via the3.5mm socket.
Connecting a Bluetooth device using NFC
(Near Field Communication)
Note: This feature is only available if your Bluetooth device is NFC-enabled.
1. Switch on thespeaker.
2. Activate NFC and Bluetooth on your Bluetooth device.
3. Hold thedevice up to theNFC zone (4) on thespeaker.
4. Your Bluetooth device will ask if you wish to connect to thespeaker.
5. Answer Yes and check theplayback via thespeaker and your Bluetooth device.
Switching the speaker off
Hold in [ ] for 3 seconds, theLED indicator (8) will go out and thespeaker will emit
anaudible “Power Off” message.
Incoming calls
If you receive acall whilst your phone is connected to thespeaker via Bluetooth:
• Press [
] once to answer and use themicrophone in thespeaker.
• Press [
] once to end thecall.
• Hold in [
] for 2 seconds to reject thecall.
Care and maintenance
• Thespeaker has aningress protection rating of IPX4 which means that it can
withstand being splashed with water from all directions. This means that thespeaker
should survive light rain showers and damp conditions. Thespeaker is however, not
waterproof and should not be subjected to jets of water or immersion into water
or other liquid.
• Clean thespeaker using alightly moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• If thespeaker is not to be used for along time, thebattery should be fully charged
on aregular basis (every second month) to prolong its capacity.
