Pressing POWER does not turn
the machine on.

1. Is the power switched on?
2. Unplug machine from the wall.Wait 60 seconds,plug
back in and operate the machine.
3. Could your household power supply be at fault?
Try plugging in another electrical appliance.
1. Are both hot and cold faucets turned on?
2. Are the inlet hose screens blocked?
3. Is DELAYSTART on?
1. Check that the machine is not siphoning.
2. Check the black hose guide is installed.
1. Is the load out of balance? (refer pages 11 and 16).
2. Check the machine is level and does not rock.
3. It may have suds build-up (refer spin light flashing,
page 22).
1. The clothes are unevenly distributed in the wash
basket,your Ecosmart has compensated by
lowering the spin speed.
1. Check the machine is level and does not rock,and has
rubber feet fitted.
2. Too much water for load (page 8).
1. It may still be in the process of sensing the water level.
(Refer to page 8).
2. Some loads do not suit Auto water level eg pillows,
bedding,large bulky items. Manually select the
water level.
3. Refer to pages 14 to 16 to adjust the Auto fill level.
1. Banging - load is out of balance (refer page 11).
2. Other noises - refer page 19.
1. The water level is too high for the amount of clothes.
This has caused excessive splashing.Use a lower
water level.
2. Large bulky garments (eg pillows,comforters) can
cause splashing. (Wash on Delicate cycle.)
