HOW TO SWITCH BETWEEN MULTIPLE MOBILE PHONES
1. With the ignition on, press PHONE on the navigation screen.
2. Select the SETTINGS tab and then choose the desired device.
3. You can now choose CONNECT, ADD, DELETE, SET AS FAV
(Favorite), or ADVANCED.
HOW TO CONNECT A PREVIOUSLY PAIRED PHONE TO SYNC
1. Press PHONE on the navigation screen.
2. Select the SETTINGS tab.
3. Select the desired device.
4. Press CONNECT. SYNC will confirm it is connecting to the
selected phone. Note: When SYNC connects the newly selected
phone, it will disconnect the previously connected phone.
HOW TO ENTER AND LEAVE THE VEHICLE DURING A CALL
If you’re in the middle of a conversation on your Bluetooth-enabled mobile
phone as you enter your car, SYNC will transfer it to your in-car system.
Here’s how it works.
1. Get in the car and turn the ignition on.
2. In just moments, the call is transferred to SYNC. Now you can
enjoy a hands-free conversation.

Now, let’s CALL a contact.
1. Press the VOICE [ ] icon or the talking head [ ] on the

teering wheel controls.

. Say, “Phone.”

. After the tone and prompt for a command, say, “Call John.” To
speed up the procedure, you may want to give the system as much

etail as possible, for example: “Call John at work.”
4. If you have more than one John in your phonebook contact list, the
s
ystem will prompt you to select the correct contact to call. If John
has more than one number, the system will prompt you to select
w
hich number to dial by saying, “Say one for John at work,
t
wo for John at home.”
