Es muss mindestens ein Speichermodul eingebaut sein. Speichermodule mit
unterschiedlicher Speicherkapazität können kombiniert werden.
Es dürfen nur ungepufferte 1,5 V-Speichermodule ohne ECC verwendet w erden.
DDR3-Speichermodule müssen der PC3-6400- oder PC3-8500-Spezifikation
entsprechen.
Wenn Sie mehr als ein S peichermodul verwenden, dann achten Sie darauf,
die Speichermodule auf beide Speicherkanäle aufzuteilen. Dadurch nutzen
Sie die Performancevorteile des Dual-Channel-Mode.
Die maximale Systemperforman ce ist gegeben, wenn in Channel A und
Channel B identische Speichermodule verwendet werden.
Um die Bestückung zu erleichtern, sind die Steckplätze (Slots) farbig gekennzeichnet.
Bei einer Speicherkonfiguration von 16 Gbyte kann der sichtbare und
benutzbare Hauptspeicher bis auf 15 Gbyte reduziert sein (abhängig
von der Konfiguration de s S ystems).
