7.2 Installing a parallel interface
Ê Open the server (seesection "Opening the server" on page 17).
Ê Remove the screw from the slot cover for slot 1.
Ê Pull the slot cover up and out.
V CAUTION!
Keep the slot cover in a safe place. If you remove the parallel interface
again and do not replace it with a new one, then reinstall the slot cover
to comply with EMC regulations and to satisfy cooling requirements and
fire protection measures.

Ê Attach an extension bracket wit one screw to the slot cover of the parallel
interface.
