Section 10 – Troubleshooting
Trouble Cause Remedy
I
f the switch is overheated because of excess current,
o
ne of two remedies can be adopted:
Overload Replace with a switch of rating adequate for
the present or future loads, or:
Rearrange circuits to remove excess load.
Poor Contact
(Contact out of adjustment)
Adjust Contacts (See Section 4.11.1)
Connections to Switch not of Increase the capacity of the connections by adding
