Command: RE - Read error status
Format: RE?
Description: Report errors. This query command reports
any error since the last RE? command. The
errors are stored as bits (16 bits max) and set
if the error occurred. After issuing this
command all errors are cleared.
The error codes are defined in Table 6.1.
Note
: Errors are only set for commands sent to the
instrument. All other commands are ignored.
where: the string is in the format:
Example: RE? reports errors
RE = 0000 no errors, since last report.
