● Ovefillling glasswithice and
useof narrowor extra-tallglasses
shouldbeavoided.Thiscanjamthe
chuteorcausethe doorinthechute
to freeze shut.PeriodicallyoPenthe
freezercompartmentdoorandlook
down intothe chute. If ice isblock-
ingthe chute, poke itthroughwith
a woodenspoon.

glasscloseto ice chute—butnotso
closethat it blocksoutcomingice.
. Ice shouldnotbedispensedinto
thin glasses,fine chinaor delicate
crystal-they cancrackorchipfrom
the combinedpressureofyourhand
pressingthemagainstthe cradle
and icedroppingintothe container.
. Ice shouldbedispensedbefore
filling glasswith sodaor other
beverage mixes.This will prevent
splashingwhich isannoyingand
which,ifthe splashreachesthe ice
andwater selectorswitch,could
causeit to stickor bind.
● Beveragesand foodsshouldnot
be quick-ohill~ in the ice storage
bin. Cans,bottlesorfood packages
inthe storagebin cancausethe
icemakerto malfunction.
