BEEPER / VIBRATION INDICATION:
(Press and hold yellow button between 3 to 5
seconds). The detector is always in the “beeper”
mode when powered on. To change to “beeper &

proximately 3 to 5 seconds until the vibration is felt.
Stop pressing button immediately. The unit is now
in “beeper & vibration” mode.
Power Off:
(Press and hold the yellow button greater than
5 seconds.)
To turn the unit off, simply hold the button for
greater than 5 seconds until the vibration stops
and two beeps indicate the unit is off.
The unit will auto power off after two hours from
last lightning strike or period of inactivity.
NOTE: Detector may receive interference due to
cell phone towers, cell phones in use, motors,
engines and other electromagnetic sources.
All strikes, including cloud to cloud generate
EMP/RF radiation, but cloud to cloud strikes typi-
cally travel in a horizontal direction and therefore, if
you are located in a direction at the initiation (begin-
ning) of the strike, the longitudinal radiation lines
generated by the lightning bolt, as it travels to the
other cloud, move downward to the ground and
upward into space and therefore the signal moving
toward your direction is substantially less and will
result in weaker detection.
