Setting the Variable zone
• To set the Variable zone, press the sensor
button VARIO TEMP. (14).
The setting range is
KEEP COOL: Suitable for a small amount
of meat stored for 1–2 days.
DRINK: Suitable for the storage of dry
goods and beverages.
FRUIT: Suitable for storing fruit and vege-
tables.
Setting Super Cool mode
• To activate Super Cool mode after the tem-
perature of the refrigerator is set to 2 °C,
press the sensor button (15).
In Super Cool mode, the temperature of
the refrigerator compartment is automati-
cally set to 2 °C.
• To deactivate Super Cool mode, press the
sensor button (17).
Super Cool mode is automatically de-
activated after 6 hours. When Super
Cool mode ends, the temperature of
the refrigerator automatically returns to the
temperature that was set before Super Cool
mode.
Setting Super Freeze mode
• To activate Super Freeze mode after
the temperature of the freezer is set to
–24 °C, press the sensor button (15).
In Super Freeze mode, the temperature of
the freezer is automatically set to –24 °C.
• To deactivate Super Freeze mode, press
the sensor button
(17).
Super Freeze mode is automatically
deactivated after 24 hours. After leav-
ing Super Freeze mode, the tempera-
ture in the freezer automatically returns to the
temperature set before Super Freeze mode.
Door alarm
The use of energy and the temperature inside
the appliance can increase if the doors are
opened often or for long periods of time.
To avoid an excessive loss of cooling, a tone
will sound when one or both doors of the
fridge-freezer have been open for more than
2 minutes.
• Close the open door(s).
When you open the door of the refrigerator
or freezer, you will hear a beeping sound and
the appliance’s interior will light up.
1. To switch off the beeping sound, unlock
the sensor buttons.
2. Hold down the sensor buttons
(15)
and (17) simultaneously for 3 seconds.
This operation will not switch off the door
alarm.
Remove fruit and vegetable
drawer, glass and door
shelves
The glass shelves (2), the door shelves (4)
and the refrigerator drawers (3) can be re-
moved. This makes them easier to clean or,
if required, to rearrange.

• To remove the door shelf, press in lightly
on the sides and remove the door shelf
upwards.
