Minimum space requirement
To prevent the formation of a flammable
gas-air mixture in the event of a leakage
in the refrigeration circuit, the installation
space must have a minimum size of 1 m
3
per 8 g of refrigerant in compliance with
the EN 378 standard. A minimum space
requirement of 9 m

is necessary for your
appliance.
The appliance must be set on a level and
firm surface only. The surface must be
strong enough to support the appliance’s
weight when fully laden.
Suitable locations are dry, well-ventilated
areas that are cool if possible.
Unsuitable locations are ones with direct
sunlight or which are directly next to an
oven, hob or radiator.
The following minimum distances must be
maintained:
to electric stoves 100 mm
to oil and coal burning stoves 300 mm
to other cooling appliances 100 mm
to washing machines/dish-
washers 100 mm
If you would like to reduce the distance to
oil or coal-fired stoves, you can fit an insu-
lation plate between the appliances.
If underfloor heating is installed at the set-
up location, place the cooling appliance on
an insulation plate made from solid mate-
rial.
