Disconnect tools. Unplugthevacuumcleanerwhennot
inuse,beforeservicing,orwhenchangingattachments.
Avoid accidental starting. Besureswitchisoffwhen
plugginginanytool.
Never leave tool running unattended. Turn the power
off.
Do not abuse cord. Neveryankcordtodisconnectfrom
receptacle.Keep cord awayfrom heat,oil, andsharp
edges.
Do not use tool if switch does not turn it on and off.
Havedefective switchesreplaced byan authorized
servicecenter.
Inspect tool cords periodically.Ifdamaged, have
repairedbyaqualifiedservicetechnicianatanauthorized
servicefacility. The conductor with insulation having
anouter surfacethat isgreen withor withoutyellow
stripesistheequipment-groundingconductor.Ifrepair
orreplacementoftheelectriccordorplugisnecessary,
donotconnecttheequipment-groundingconductortoa
liveterminal.Repairorreplaceadamagedorworncord
immediately.Stayconstantlyawareofcordlocationand
keepitwellawayfromtherotatingbrushes.
Inspect extension cords periodically and replace if
damaged.
When servicing use only identical replacement parts.
Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause

Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry.
Contain long hair. Keep your hair, loose clothing,
fingers, and all parts of the body and clothing, away
from openings and moving parts. Looseclothes,

Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance
at all times. Properfootingandbalanceenablesbetter
controloftheproductinunexpectedsituations.Donot
useonaladderorunstablesupport.
Use safety equipment. Dustmask must be used for
appropriateconditions.
Do not allow children to operate product or play with
productasatoy.Closeattentionisnecessarywhenused
byornearchildren.
Use this product ONLY for its intended use as
described in this manual.Useonly the attachments
recommendedinthismanual.
If product is not working properly, has been dropped,
damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return
to your nearest service center.
Do not handle plug or power cord with wet hands.
This tool has a precision-built electric motor. It should
be connected to a power supply that is 120 V, AC only
(normal household current), 60 Hz. Donotoperatethis
toolondirectcurrent(DC).Asubstantialvoltagedropwill
causealossofpowerandthemotorwilloverheat.Ifthe
tooldoesnotoperatewhenpluggedintoanoutlet,double
checkthepowersupply.
Do not put any objects in ventilation openings.Donot
usewithanyopeningblocked.Keepopeningsfreeofdust,
lint,hair,andanythingthatmayreduceairflow.
NEVER vacuum materials that are burning or smoking,
such as hot coals, cigarette butts, matches, burning
or smoking ashes, etc.
DO NOT use to pick up flammable or combustible
liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they
may be present.
Do not use without dirt cup or filter in place.
Use extra care when using vacuum hose or accessories
on stairs. Toavoidpersonalinjuryordamage,andto
preventthevacuumfromfalling,alwaysplacevacuumat
bottomofstairsonfloor.Donotplacevacuumonstairs
orfurniture.
Do not use to pick up hard objects such as nails,
screws, coins, etc.Damageorinjurycouldresult.
Do not incinerate this appliance even if it is severely
damaged.
Protect your lungs. Wear a face or dust mask if the
operation is dusty. Followingthisrulewillreducetherisk
ofseriouspersonalinjury.
Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts,

affect the product’s operation. If damaged, have the
product serviced before using. Many accidents are
