Depending on the situation, set it to the 1/2 start or max START position and ensure it remains fixed. * If there's no fuel at the injection pump, refuel. Also, try activating the manual lever of the fuel pump. * Systematically check the entire fuel supply system, including the fuel feed line to the engine, the fuel prefilter, and the main fuel filter. * Verify the function of the feed pump. If difficulties persist after extended periods of disuse, and activating the feed pump helps, verify the fuel system's sizing. If the injection nozzle isn't working, contact Hatz service.

  If your Hatz Engine doesn't start, make sure there is fuel at the injection pump by refueling. Also, activate the feed pump until you hear the fuel flowing back through the return line into the fuel tank. Depending on the possibility or requirement, place the lever in either the 1/2 start or max. START position and ensure the lever is fixed in this position. Systematically check the entire fuel supply: Check the feed line to the engine, the fuel prefilter, the fuel filter, and the function of the feed pump.
