1.2 Applied symbols
During normal heat pump system design work or unit installaon, greater aenon must be paid in
certain situaons requiring parcular care in order to avoid damage to the unit, the installaon or
the building or property.
Situaons that jeopardise the safety of those in the surrounding area or to the unit itself are clearly
indicated in this manual.
A series of special symbols are used to clearly idenfy these situaons.
Pay close aenon to these symbols and to the messages following them, as your safety and that
of others depends on it.
