12.Remove the engine hanger nuts (3) and engine

Cylinder Head Removal
1. Clean the area above the engine before
disassembly to prevent dirt falling into the
engine.
2. Drain the engine oil (page 37).
3. Drain the radiator coolant after cooling the
motorcycle (page 42).
4. Remove the seat and fuel tank (page 30).
5. Remove the subframe (page 32).
6. Remove the carburetor (page 119).
7. Remove the exhaust pipe (page 90).
8. Disconnect the spark plug (page 55).
9. Remove the cylinder head cover (page 56).
10. Position the piston at top dead center on the
compression stroke (page 56).
Remove the camshaft (page 58).
11. Loosen the water hose clamp (1) and
disconnect the water hose (2).
