Before removing the WLAN, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 33).
2. Remove the optical drive (see Optical drive on page 34).
3. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 38).
4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 41).
Remove the WLAN module:
1. Disconnect the two antenna cables from the module (1).
2. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screw (2), and then pull the module out of the socket (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the WLAN module.
