Before removing the touchpad, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 32).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 32).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 44).
Remove the touchpad:
1. Disconnect the NFC module cable from the ZIF connector on the NFC module (1).
2. Disconnect the pointing stick module cable from the ZIF connector on the touchpad (2).
3. Disconnect the card reader cable from the ZIF connector on the touchpad (3).
4. Remove the ve Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screws (1) that secure the touchpad to the computer.
