Component Description
(1) Vents (4) Enable airflow to cool internal components.
NOTE: The computer fan starts up automatically to
cool internal components and prevent overheating. It is
normal for the internal fan to cycle on and off during
routine operation.

Battery release latch Releases the battery.
(3) Docking connector Connects an optional docking device.
(4)
Service door release latch Releases the service door on the computer.
(5)
SIM slot Supports a wireless subscriber identity module (SIM).
The SIM slot is located inside the battery bay.
(6) Battery bay Holds the battery.
(7) Accessory battery connector Connects an optional accessory battery.
