2. Remove Phillips M2.0x5.0 screw (1), lift the top of system board (2), and then remove it from the
computer (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the system board.

IMPORTANT: Make special note of each screw and screw lock size and location during removal
and replacement
Before removing the RTC battery, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by rst unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4. Remove the base enclosure (see Base enclosure on page 32), and then remove the following
components:
a. Hard drive (see Hard drive on page 37).
b. Battery (see Battery on page 34).
c. Fans (see Fans on page 51).
d. System board (see System board on page 53).
