Before removing the solid-state drive, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 29).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover and rubber feet on page 29).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 31).
Remove the solid-state drive:
1. Remove the tape that secures the solid-state drive metal cover (1).
2. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screw (2) that secures the cover and drive to the computer.
3. Lift the metal cover o the solid-state drive (3).
4. Pull the drive away from the socket to remove it (4).
To install the solid-state drive, reverse the removal procedures.
