GROUP 3 ADJUSTMENT
1. MAST LOAD ROLLER(V MAST)
INNER/OUTER MAST ROLLER CLEAR-
ANCE ADJUSTMENT
Measure the clearance with the mast
overlap at near 480
mm
.
Shift the inner mast to one side to bring
the roller into contact with the outer mast,
and adjust the clearance between the
roller side face and mast at the closest
position on the opposite side to the
following value by inserting the inner/outer
mast roller shim.

Standard clearance A, B = 0.3 ~ 0.6
mm

Shim thickness 0.5, 1.0
mm
Distribute the shim thickness equally to
the left and right roller. Refer to Mast load
roller and back up liner, removal and
Installation.
After the adjustment, check that the inner
mast moves smoothly in the outer mast.
