Tested efficiency of the appliance and made necessary adjustments by Performing a
combustion test and adjustment.

Tested the low water cutoff function to check that the LWCO sensor is working. Refer to
"Testing the LWCO function" in the Controller manual.

Tested the high limit temperature function to check that the High limit temperature sensor
is working. Refer to "Testing the Hi-Limit cutoff temperature function" in the Controller
manual.

6.2 Testing the ignition safety shutoff
To test the ignition system safety shutoff function:
1. With the boiler in operation, shut off the gas control valve directly outside the boiler case.
2. Ensure that the boiler has purged, attempted to re-light three times, has shut off and the
appropriate error information is displayed on the controller.
3. The error is displayed after testing the ignition safety shutoff.

To restart the boiler, reset the power or on the touchscreen controller tap (Status)>
Clear Errors > Yes.
6.3 Commissioning
The appliances are factory calibrated to operate with natural gas (or propane if desired) at sea
level. The gas-air ratio or zero-offset adjustment screw may need adjusting to attain optimum
combustion results. Note that only qualified technicians using properly functioning and calibrated
combustion analyzing equipment should perform a mixture adjustment.
