Important
LCD panel FRUs for the ThinkPad T30 series are
supplied by different vendors and differ in resolution
and base brightness. When you order and replace
the LCD panel FRU, note the following:
v The LCD panel FRU must be used with the
inverter card corresponding to the base
brightness.
v Replace the new LCD panel FRU with one from
the same vendor, and having the same resolution
and base brightness as the defective LCD panel.
v If no LCD panel FRU with the same base
brightness as the defective LCD panel is
available, use an “LCD panel and inverter kit”
from the same vendor, with the same resolution.
v For more details about the FRU numbers or the

inverter card FRU, see “LCD FRUs” on page 149.
