CLOCK AND TIMERS
The transceiver has a built-in 24-hour clock with
power-off and power-on timer functions. This is useful
when logging QSO’s and so on. The clock indication
is always displayed except after pushing [F-INP].
q If the start up screen is not selected (if [F-5]’s func-
tion is [EXIT]), push [F-5] one or more times to exit.
w Push [(F-5)SET] then [(F-3)TIME] to enter timer set
mode.
e Push [
(F-1)Y] or [(F-2)Z] to select the time adjust-
ment item.
r Set the current time using the tuning dial.
- “TIME – set push [SET]” blinks.
t Push [(F-4)SET] to enter the set time.
- Push [(F-5)EXIT] to cancel the setting.
y Push [(F-5)EXIT] twice to exit timer set mode.

The transceiver can be set to turn ON automatically
at a specified time.
q If the start up screen is not selected (if [F-5]’s func-
tion is [EXIT]), push [F-5] one or more times to exit.
w Push [(F-5)SET] then [(F-3)TIME] to enter timer set
mode.
e Push [(F-1)Y] or [(F-2)Z] to select the power-on time
item.
r Set the desired power-on time using the tuning
dial.
