TROUBLESHOOTING
If your transceiver seems to be malfunctioning, please check the following points before sending it to a service center.
CP-20 fuse replacement ï
If the fuse blows or the receiver stops functioning while
operating with the optional CP-20 c i g a r e t t e l i g H t e r c a b l e ,
find the source of the problem if possible, and replace the
damaged fuse with a new rated one (FGB 8 A) as shown
right.

No power comes on. • The battery is exhausted.
• Bad connection for the battery pack.
• The CP-20’s fuse is blown.
• Recharge the battery pack.
• Check the connection to the transceiver.
• Check for the cause, then replace the
CP-20’s fuse to new one.

No sound comes from

• Squelch level is too deep.
